For Modern women time is a precious commodity that is not to be squandered on frivolous frivolities.

Modern ladies know how to use their time wisely and are able to accomplish many things in their life due to their constant awareness of time. Time management etiquette requires arriving to the doctor’s office fifteen minutes early and the cocktail party fifteen minutes late.

Things Every Modern Woman needs to ensure she’s making the most of her time:

1. A gorgeous watch

2. A calendar or organizer

3. A productivity tool installed on the computer

4. The ability to say “No” to things that are a waste of time

 

The Do’s and Dont’s of time management

1. Do show up early to appointments, meetings, and anything work related

2. Do not double book events

3. Do not schedule meetings too close together

4. Do prioritize your time in a way that allows you to live your life to the fullest

 


Phone manners have been slowly dying with other forms of etiquette that once kept society proper, prim, and refined.

Proper phone etiquette:

1. It is incredibly charming when a Modern Lady confirms to the caller that “The lady of the house is speaking.”

2. Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening sounds much warmer than a simple “hello”

3. Be sure to ask someone’s permission before you put them on speakerphone. If a conversation is not private, the caller should be informed.

4. Hanging up on someone without a proper goodbye is never acceptable unless the person is being verbally abusive.

5. Don’t question the identity of someone who answers your call until you first identify yourself.
